Location. The Stevenswood Lodge, located two-and-one-half miles south of Mendocino, Calif., is nestled in a rural setting by the sea. The lodge is surrounded on three sides by the 2,400-acre Van Damme State Park, replete with towering redwoods and golden meadows. The wineries of Anderson Valley, one of the top Pinot Noir regions in North America, are accessible 17 miles away.
Features. This contemporary and secluded lodge is flanked by verdant woods and grassy meadows alongside the azure Pacific Ocean. The Restaurant at Stevenswood, open for dinner, offers gourmet dishes of seafood, lamb and fine cuts of beef. Complimentary full breakfasts, including three-berry stuffed French toast, quiche and buttermilk pancakes, are served each morning. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available. The Stevenswood Lodge offers an ocean-view workout room with a universal gym, treadmill, elliptical machine and recumbent bike, and an infrared heat all-wood sauna.
