Location. Falcon Point Resort is situated at the foot of Beaver Creek ski area in Avon, Colo. The five-story building borders Nottingham Park and Lake, is one block from the Avon Recreation Center, and 10 minutes from Vail. Fabulous mountain vistas invoke an unparalleled serenity that visitors return for year after year. Outdoor fun includes biking, fishing, horseback riding, hot-air ballooning and golf at a Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course. A large grocery store and several restaurants are within walking distance distance of the resort. Vail's Tyrolean-style village boasts trendy shopping along with fine restaurants and the obvious recreational pursuits. The Vilar Center for the Arts, less than three miles away, offers year-round entertainment including symphonies, ballet, film, Broadway musicals and comedy.
Hotel Features. The clubhouse offers a heated pool, indoor and outdoor jetted tubs, a sauna, ski lockers, men's and women's changing rooms and an exercise room. A video game room, large-screen television, pool table and a coin-operated laundry are also on site. Sports items, videos and games are available for check-out at the front desk, and gas barbecue grills are located on the property for guest use. The building has elevators and underground parking.

Guestrooms. All Falcon Point units except studios feature a fully equipped kitchen, including ranges, microwave ovens, full-size refrigerators, dishwashers, linens, dishware silverware and cookware. Each studio has a mini-kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, two-burner range, and a microwave oven. All units have been newly renovated and feature cable television and dial-up Internet access. VCRs and DVD players can be checked out at the front desk. All two-bedroom units have a fireplace and a deck.
