Location. The Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa in Fort Myers, Fla., is nestled on a private peninsula overlooking the Sanibel and Captiva Islands. The resort is located where the Caloosahatchee River meets Sanibel Harbour, one mile from Sanibel Island.
Features. This 85-acre seaside resort is comprised of a main hotel building, the Grande Bay building and separate waterfront condominium buildings. Three restaurants, a cabana bar, poolside bar and grille, sunset dinner cruises and a bakery offer dining options ranging from steak and seafood to gelato and specialty cocktails. Room service is also available. The resort's business center features computers with complimentary high-speed Internet access, photocopy services, supplies and a helpful staff. Ballrooms and meeting rooms with complimentary high-speed Internet access, and outdoor function space are available for corporate functions, receptions and banquets. Catering service is available. The resort offers a championship tennis complex, fishing pier, six pools, 14 spa tubs and a bayside beach. Daily shelling excursions, eco-tours and dolphin sightseeing cruises are also available. The spa and fitness center provides more than 60 beauty and body care treatments, and professional health and fitness instruction. A complimentary shuttle runs to Sanibel Island's Lighthouse Beach, with stops at an outlet mall, shopping plaza and Sanibel's wildlife refuge. Pets are not allowed at this property.
