Guests enjoy home away from home comfort and Great Northwest style at the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge in Lake Buena Vista (Fla.), just one mile from Magic Kingdom. Epcot, MGM Studios, Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney's Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney are all within 10 miles of this resort.
Guests retreat to the Disney's version of the Great Northwest amid the grandeur of the tall timber and majesty of National Park geyser country. Entering the lobby, guests can marvel at the two hand-carved totem poles, the Raven and the Eagle, depicting various myths and legends of Native Americans. Boats ferry guests across Bay Lake to the Magic Kingdom Park, and transportation to all Disney World Resorts is available at the lodge.

This villa complex offers the Cub's Den Children's Activities Center, an arcade, a white sandy beach, watercraft rentals, bicycle rentals, a pool complex with waterfall and rock formations and storytelling time for children each evening in the lobby. Fireworks Cruises are also available with reservation.

The Villas are part of the Wilderness Lodge Resort, and guests have privileges at all its restaurants and amenities. Artist Point serves authentic and fresh Pacific Northwest cuisine, with panoramic views of Bay Lake. Family-style buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner are available at the Whispering Canyon Café, offering barbecue favorites for lunch and dinner. For appetizers and drinks, guests can visit the Territory Lounge, or enjoy poolside treats at the Trout Pass Pool Bar.

The villas are décor highlights the heritage the railroad brought to the area, and feature bold quilt designs, mission-style furniture, warm colors and wildlife motifs throughout. From Orlando International Airport:
Depart going south (right) onto S Access Rd.
Continue south on Boggy Creek Rd and take SR-417/Central Florida Greenway exit.
There will be a toll. Take Exit 6 (in the direction of SR-535/SR-536/I-4 East).
Keep left at the fork on the ramp.
Merge onto International Dr. Stay on International Dr to SR-536 W.
Take SR-536 (turn right) and follow signs to Walt Disney World Resort. SR-536 W becomes Epcot Center Dr. Take the ramp toward Magic Kingdom/Magic Kingdom Resorts/Fort Wilderness. Merge onto World Dr. Turn right onto Timberline Drive.
