Disney's Polynesian Resort

Disney's Polynesian Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., is a fanciful recreation of the South Seas, just one mile from the Magic Kingdom and within seven miles of Richard Petty's Driving Experience, Epcot, Downtown Disney, MGM Studios and the Typhoon Lagoon. The resort is across the street from a Disney golf course, and a monorail offers transportation to Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Complimentary transportation is available to all Disney parks.
The lush, exotic foliage, including gardenias, banana trees, hibiscus and orchids, helps guests enter the relaxed, sun-soaked mood of the Polynesian islands. The lobby in the Great Ceremonial House showcases curved ceilings, natural stone floors and a small waterfall. The on-site pool features a small volcano mountain and plenty of tropical landscaping. A whirlpool, arcade room, picnic area and supervised children's activities help make this resort one of Disney's most popular choices. A private beach, shopping and tour assistance are also available.

'Ohana Restaurant hosts breakfasts with Mickey and Friends, and serves a Polynesian family-style dinner with all-you-can-eat meats and seafood grilled over an open fire. The Kona Café is a more casual dining choice, serving American- style breakfasts and  offering lunch and dinner choices with an Asian flair.

Disney's Polynesian Resort features 853 guestrooms in 11 colorful two- and three- story longhouses, each named for a Pacific island. Views include the hotel's gardens, pool, marina, parking area and the Seven Seas Lagoon. Décor is Polynesian in flavor, with accents of wicker and bamboo. Amenities include Internet access and in-room safes. Select guestrooms also offer sofa beds.

Disney's Magical Express:
Guests of the resort are eligible for complimentary Disney's Magical Express Service. Motor coaches take guests from Orlando International Airport to the resort hotel. From Orlando International Airport (MCO):
Depart the airport onto SR-528 Toll West/International Drive.
Merge from SR-528 onto I-4 West (toward Tampa).
Take Exit 25 toward US-192 West.
Exit onto World Drive and follow signs to Disney's Polynesian Resort.
Stay in right lanes when entering tollbooth.
Turn left onto Seven Seas Drive.
