Location. Centrally located near Tampa Bay and many Central Florida attractions, the Bilmar Beach Resort in Treasure Island, Fla., is close to downtown St. Petersburg, John's Pass Boardwalk and casino cruises. Features. Sloppy Joe's, a franchise of the popular Key West restaurant, features a two-tiered deck and serves specialties such as Jumbo Lump Crab Pasta, Macadamia Nut-Crusted Grouper and Key Lime Pie. Bazzie's Beach Bar serves light fare. Meeting facilities are on site and the staff provides dry cleaning, tour assistance, concierge and business services. Safe-deposit boxes are located at the 24-hour front desk. The resort features 550 feet of white sandy beaches on the Gulf of Mexico and boasts a beach bar, a lounge, a gift shop, two heated pools and a garden-side jetted tub. A sundeck offers complimentary chaise lounges, chairs and towels. Guests can enjoy beach volleyball and water sports or take a jog down the one-mile Beachside Fitness Trail adjacent to the resort.
