Disney's Vero Beach Resort is set on 26 miles of pristine barrier-island beachfront, and is eight miles from the seaside town of Vero Beach. The architectural style of the resort is reminiscent of the grand hotels found in the early 1900s along the Northeastern seaboard. In keeping with founder Walt Disney's conservation legacy, the resort was designed to create minimal impact on the nesting patterns of the migrating sea turtles. Guests can also take three-hour turtle walks during the nesting periods of June and July.
