Maui Tradewinds is a romantic honeymoon vacation retreat, secluded on two acres of exquisite tropical splendor. Unlike the typical resorts and hotels to the west or south, this is a private, family owned accommodation on the north shore of Maui.  Away from crowds and commercial development, this part of the island still offers the chance to experience an unspoiled paradise of bamboo jungle, waterfalls and tropical rainforest. Here you have the best of both worlds, enjoying seclusion and tranquility, while still being conveniently located for exploring points of interest on the entire island. Reservations made more than sixty days ahead of scheduled arrival do not require a deposit  however, a charge is made in case of cancellation.

Driving Directions - Maui Tradewinds

AS YOU EXIT THE KAHULUI AIRPORT, YOU WILL BE ON HIGHWAY 38, ALSO CALLED KEOLANI PLACE. AT THE FIRST STOP LIGHT, YOU WILL CROSS HALEAKALA HIGHWAY AND BEAR LEFT ONTO DAIRY ROAD. GET INTO THE LEFT LANE AS SOON AS IT IS SAFE. AT THE NEXT STOP LIGHT, TURN LEFT ONTO HANA HIGHWAY, ALSO CALLED HIGHWAY 36.  ABOUT 4 MILES LATER YOU WILL PASS THROUGH THE SMALL TOWN OF PAIA. AROUND 7 MILES PAST PAIA YOU WILL PASS THE 14-MILE MARKER. 1/2 MILE LATER, TURN RIGHT ON ULUMALU ROAD *JUST BEFORE THE MAUI GROWN MARKET*. GO 1/2 MILE UP ULUMALU ROAD, TAKE THE THIRD STREET TO YOUR LEFT, WHICH IS UNE PLACE.  THEN TAKE THE DRIVEWAY AT THE SECOND MAILBOX ON YOUR RIGHT, A BLACK MAILBOX NUMBERED 4320. IT IS A STEEP GRAVEL DRIVEWAY, LEADING RIGHT TO A COVERED PARKING AREA.  PLEASE RING OUR FRONT DOORBELL.
