Two Urns is located 2.5 miles NW of the Loop (downtown Chicago), 6 miles NW from McCormick Place, 2 miles west of the Magnificent Mile (North Michigan Avenue shopping) and is within walking distance from many delightful restaurants, bars, coffeehouses, galleries, music venues and unique boutiques in the Wicker Park neighborhood.  A charming brick, two-flat decorated with antiques, original art and family heirlooms, the House of Two Urns offers all the conveniences and comforts of home while you are in Chicago and has earned its name from a recurring motif in its stained glass and rooftop decorations.  The inn offers a smoke-free and pet-free environment; an exterior deck is available for smokers (or non-smokers) to enjoy an urban rooftop view and a lovely side garden allows a quiet respite for guests among flowers, fruit trees and berries. There is no handicapped access and children are welcome in some of our guestrooms and apartment units.  High-speed Internet access is offered via a computer station for all guests and you will find wi-fi capacity at the main inn when you bring your own laptop.  An Eastlake appointed sitting room and dining room afford comfortable lounging space outside of guestrooms in the main inn.   A common-use kitchen is available with complimentary teas, coffee or sodas and snacks.  Garden fresh fruits grace the hearty continental breakfast of bagels, muffins, toast; cereal and milk; yogurt; orange juice; coffee or tea.  Guests from around the world have enjoyed the hospitality of the artists, who as hosts are very knowledgeable about the arts in Chicago, sightseeing and cultural events and who can make your trip a very enjoyable and memorable one. English, German, Spanish and limited French are all spoken here.
All of the comforts and conveniences of a home are offered at the House of Two Urns, and then some.  Guests in any of the available accommodations receive bathrobes and slippers, DSL computer access 24/7, VCR or DVD players in every room (with an extensive library to select from), Dish TV with 13 free HBO and Cinemax channels, iron and ironing boards in each room, central air with ceiling fans, free off-street parking, guest kitchen access, discounted museum passes, daily maid service, roof-top deck and lovely summer garden respite, and a hearty full breakfast is served from 8 - 9:30 AM each day.  In addition, deluxe rooms and suites have a flat-screen television, fireplace, mini-kitchen and bar, and some also offer Jacuzzis.
