Location. Located on Magazine Street within two blocks of numerous restaurants, antique shops, art galleries and boutiques, the Garden District Bed & Breakfast in New Orleans, La., is less than two miles from Bourbon Street and the French Quarter, and within three miles of Tulane, Loyola and the Audubon Zoo. The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is 15 miles from the Garden District Bed & Breakfast. The Garden District boasts antebellum mansions on tree- lined streets, with historical locales dotting the neighborhood, including the Lafayette Cemetery and the former home of novelist Anne Rice.
Hotel Features. This Victorian home was originally built in 1870 and opened for business in 1992. It was restored in 2004. A complimentary continental breakfast is provided each morning. A fax machine and on-street parking are available.
