Location. The Devonfield Country Inn B&B is located in Lee, Mass., across the street from the Greenoch Country Club. The neighboring city of Stockbridge, home of the Norman Rockwell Museum, is two miles from the inn.
Features. This English-style country house is set on 29 acres overlooking a pastoral meadow and the Berkshire Hills. Complimentary country breakfasts are served daily. A guest pantry provides coffee, tea, hot chocolate, popcorn and fresh-baked cookies, and contains a full-size guest refrigerator. The living room features a grand piano, a book and video library, a television and a fireplace. A tennis court and a 20-foot by 40-foot heated pool are available on the grounds. Bicycle rentals, sporting equipment and an exercise room are also provided.

Guestrooms. The Devonfield Country Inn B&B offers six guestrooms and three suites. All accommodations include private bathrooms with terry-cloth bathrobes. Suites also feature sitting rooms. Beds include handmade quilts and down comforters. Televisions and VCRs are featured in all accommodations. Select rooms feature jetted tubs and fireplaces. Complimentary brandy, bottled water and locally-made chocolates are provided.

Expert Tip. When Queen Wilhelmina of Holland came to Devonfield in 1942 to escape the looming Nazi takeover of her country, she was a guest at Devonfield. During this time, President Roosevelt paid a visit to the queen, her daughter Juliana, and her granddaughters, Irene and Beatrix (the current queen of Holland).
