Features. The Contemporary-style inn, built in 1954, boasts a multi-level deck overlooking the surrounding woodlands and gardens. Interior highlights include cathedral ceilings with natural oak beams, oriental carpets, original art, antiques and handmade reproduction furniture. Full, complimentary breakfasts are served daily, and include specialties like Crustless Spinach Quiche, Grand Marnier French Toast and Cheddary Eggs with Chives. Fax services are available at the inn. The second floor living room features a wood-burning stove, cable television, a VCR, a library, a refrigerator and access to a small deck. Other amenities include a piano, a wet bar, board games and an outdoor pool bordered by gardens.

Expert Tip Orleans was the only American town to suffer an attack by the Germans in World War I. A German U-boat fired upon the tug Perth Amboy and four barges in the Nauset area in July 1918.
