Lula Belle's , 111 Bird St (tel 573/221-6662 or 1-800/882-4890; $50-200), has B&B rooms of varying degrees of luxury, including some with river views, and serves tasty food ; while the Mark Twain Dinette & Family Restaurant , just up from the museum at 400 N Third St (tel 573/221-5300), has classic American fare and Twain paraphernalia on the walls. You can camp at the shaded Mark Twain Campground (tel 573/221-1656 or 1-800/527-0304; $17.50 for tents, $21.50 for RVs), a mile south of town on Hwy-79.
