Location. The Galvladi Mountain Inn is perched atop 250 acres of protected Great Smoky Mountains forestland in Sylva, N.C. Big Branch Creek runs adjacent to the inn. Five waterfalls are within five miles of the property. The Smoky Mountain Country Club golf course is approximately 10 miles away.
Features. This log and stone inn, built in 2006, is surrounded by hardwood forests, colorful mountain laurel, wildflowers and a variety of indigenous wildlife. The property offers miles of well-marked hiking trails. Complimentary breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served in the dining room, featuring specialties such as Blueberry Dutch Pancakes, Mango Avocado and Shrimp Salad, and Fennel Crusted Grouper with Citrus Beurre Blanc. Hors d'oeuvres and desserts are offered each evening. The Galvladi Mountain Inn features a vaulted great room with a soaring rock fireplace, a sunny solarium, a library and an exercise room. Just past mile marker 89, turn left onto Mineral Springs Road.
