Built in 1905 as a summer home, much of the original architecture - high ceilings, paneled wainscoting, and hardwood floors - in this stately home has been tastefully preserved. The charming historic inn is nestled in 3.5 wooded acres in the heart of Waynesville. Guests are invited to roam the property or relax in the parlor, sunroom, patio or the well-stocked library. A candlelit bountiful breakfast is served each morning, and you'll always find fresh baked treats in the sunroom to enjoy with a cup of tea or a glass of fine wine.
Each room at the Adger House provides a sense of peace and tranquility. All of the rooms are uniquely furnished with a mixture of antique and reproduction pieces. 12-foot high ceilings and large windows, creating spacious accommodations, accentuate the tasteful, uncluttered decor. Accommodations for most of the rooms include cable TV, hair dryers and ironing boards upon request, and ceiling fans. The deluxe and premium rooms also offer central air-conditioning and a living/dining area. In addition, the premium room also has an enormous stone fireplace.
