Location. The White Lilac Inn is located in a quiet corner of Spring Lake, N.J., one block from Wreck Pond. The bed and breakfast is less than five blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, which is lined with miles of sandy beaches and a long boardwalk. Candy shops, restaurants, art galleries, gift shops and gourmet food markets are available on Third Street, located one mile from the property.
Features. This circa 1880 inn boasts 180 feet of verandas, triple-tiered porches and Victorian common rooms. Complimentary hot breakfasts are served each morning at tables for two in the garden room or on the enclosed porch. Breakfasts can be delivered to the guestrooms upon request. The inn also serves an afternoon tea. A guest refrigerator is provided. The inn boasts a secret garden filled with hydrangeas and other blossoms. Bicycle rentals and beach badges are available.
