Driving from
Santa Fe to Albuquerque
, you have three options. One route loops through the mountains to the west via

and the appealing village of Jemez Springs, while another follows the slumbering
Turquoise Trail
through the ghost towns further east. Even the direct sixty-mile sprint down
I-25
has its moments, with views of Sandia Crest to the east and the sprawling Rio Grande to the west.
