Location. 10 Fitch A Luxurious Historic Inn is located in the Finger Lakes Region in Auburn, N.Y. The inn is less than two miles from historic attractions including the Harriet Tubman Home, William H. Seward House and the Willard Memorial Chapel.
Features. This 1904 French chateau, renovated in 2005, is surrounded by perennial gardens. Full gourmet breakfasts, including Gran Marnier French toast, Eggs Benedict and homemade crepes with fresh berries, are served each morning in the formal dining room or on the terrace. Continental breakfasts are also available upon request. Five fireplaces are showcased throughout the property. A floral-themed sunroom and a guest living room are available. Pets are not allowed at this property.

Guestrooms. This historic inn offers three suites with separate sitting rooms, bedrooms and private bathrooms. The accommodations were professionally decorated in 2005, and are enhances with a blend of antiques, modern furnishings and original artwork. The English Suite offers a wood-burning fireplace, private balcony, and 20-inch plasma television. The Equestrian Suite includes a fireplace, television and bathroom with a jetted tub. The Garden View Room features an antique iron bed. The Garden View Room and Equestrian Suite offer marble walk-in showers, and overlook the backyard and gardens. Complimentary wireless Internet access and nightly turndown service are included. Coffee/tea and newspaper delivery are available upon request.

Expert Tip. The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, comprised of 16 wineries with specialties including Riesling, merlot and dessert wines, is accessible approximately nine miles from the inn starting at the Montezuma Winery just past the village of Cayuga.
