Location. Overlooking Narragansett Bay, less than one-half mile from shopping and dining in Jamestown, R.I. Historic Newport is just across the bay, five miles from the property. Area attractions including the Newport Art Museum and the International Tennis Hall of Fame, both within one mile of the property. Spring Street, the main thoroughfare of the Historic Hill district is also less than one mile from the property. The district is home to the "cottages," summer mansions constructed by the extremely wealthy during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Fantastic shopping, dining, and entertainment options are available, with Thames Street hosting the most numerous and popular venues in town.
Features. Constructed in the mid-1800s as a private residence, the inn features a seasonal outdoor pool, an indoor jetted tub, a fitness center and a sauna. Expert Tip. Just over six miles from the property, in Newport, The Breakers mansion belonged to the Vanderbilt family and boasts original furnishings and a massive cubed-hall sheathed in marble. Turn right onto Warwick Industrial Drive.
Turn right onto SR-113 and stay on this road for approximately two miles.
Take the ramp onto Interstate 95 and proceed four miles.
Keep left onto SR-4 towards Newport/South County.
Merge onto US-1 (Tower Hill Road).
Take the ramp onto SR-138 towards RI-138/Jamestown/Newport/Bridges.
Turn right onto the ramp towards Jamestown.
Keep straight onto Conanicus Avenue and continue approximately one mile to the inn.
