Location. The Caravelle Golf & Family Resort is a cluster of beachside properties located on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, S.C., just four miles from Dixie Stampede, Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing. The private Dunes Golf and Beach Club, at which guests of the resort have playing privileges, is less than three miles away.
Features. The Santa Maria restaurant serves breakfast each morning and provides an omelet bar. Market Place convenience store sells groceries, beer and wine. During the summer, ice cream treats sell out at Pirates Cove Ice Cream Shop. The seasonal Marco Polo Bar serves drinks poolside. Limited meeting space is available adjacent to the resort and high-speed Internet is accessible in public areas. A solarium covers an indoor pool and spa tub on the seventh floor. A lazy river snakes its way around the outdoor recreational area which includes outdoor pools, a children's pool and spa tubs.

Guestrooms. There are 522 guestrooms at the resort, many with partial side ocean views or full oceanfront views. Efficiencies and suites have kitchenettes with granite countertops and a tiled backsplashes. Two- and three-bedroom units have kitchens and living rooms. Select units feature flat-screen televisions, breakfast nooks or breakfast bars, walk-in closets and master bedrooms with private balcony access. Three-bedroom units are also outfitted with washers and dryers; however, these units have only resort views.
