Location. Nestled privately amid oak and mountain laurel, MountainLoft in Gatlinburg, Tenn., sits at an elevation of 2,200 feet against a backdrop of the Smoky Mountains. Situated at the end of a winding country road, this condo resort is just five miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Rafting, fishing, horseback riding and hiking are all available nearby.
Hotel Features. MountainLoft features an expansive clubhouse with game room, sauna, whirlpool tubs, and exercise facility. Guests are permitted to host their own hoedowns in the clubhouse, or book a private party in one of two gazebos. Hiking trails are available on site. There are four outdoor hot tubs and two heated pools, and massages are available. Organized children's activities, offered year-round, keep kids busy. A concierge desk can assist with vacation planning.

Guestrooms. Condos and townhomes at this Gatlinburg resort feature rich, earthy colors and traditional American furnishings. All units have separate living and dining areas, and fully equipped kitchens have icemaker refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, full stoves, blenders, coffeemakers, and cookware. Glimpses of deer and black bears can often be caught from the private balconies and patios. Fireplaces and private whirlpool tubs are included in select units. Cable televisions with VCRs and CD players are available.

Expert Tip. The Gatlinburg trolleys make up the nations fourth-largest public transit system. Guests can travel around Gatlinburg to shopping and attractions for as little as one-quarter. MountainLoft is near the yellow and blue lines of the trolley system.

Driving Directions - Mountainloft

110 MountainLoft Drive, Gatlinburg, Tenn.
From the Knoxville Airport:
Exit the airport towards Knoxville (Hwy 129 N).
Take Hwy 129 to Interstate 40.
Head East towards Asheville.
Take Exit 407 (Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg).
Follow the signs through Sevierville and Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg.
Once you get into Gatlinburg, turn left at the third stoplight, which is Hwy 321 (also called East Pkwy).
The resort is approximately two miles from here.
Mountain Loft is on the left as you come up Hwy 321.
There is a sign at the bottom of the drive and a waterfall to one side.
If you get to the Fire Department, you have gone too far.
