Resting on three acres overlooking the town and the Blue Ridge Mountains, the MayneView Bed & Breakfast was originally constructed in 1865 as a hunting lodge by the co-discoverer of the Luray Caverns. The building operated as a station for the Underground Railroad at the close of the Civil War. Full complimentary breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room.
