Perched on a hill in the charming village of Stowe, Vt., The Stowe Inn offers accommodations adjacent to the Little River. The town's Main Street, which features galleries, shops, museums, live theatre and fine restaurants, is just a short one-block walk over a covered bridge.
Originally built in the early 1800s, the Stowe Inn offers three common rooms with high-backed wing chairs, deep sofas and oriental carpets throughout. A complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning on a seasonal basis. Dinner and cocktails are served in the Stowe Inn Tavern, which overlooks Stowe village. There is an outdoor pool on site with patio furniture and lounge chairs, and a game room offering billiards.

The Stowe Inn offers 18 individually- decorated guestrooms in the historic inn and 22 guestrooms in a separate motel-style carriage house. All rooms are equipped with cable television and feature private baths. The standard inn rooms and deluxe inn rooms, located in the historic main inn, are decorated in country style and have antique furnishings, panel, poster or sleigh beds, and down comforters.  The deluxe inn rooms were renovated in 2003. Motel-style rooms, located in the carriage house, have beds dressed with country-style quilts.
